What is love?
Let’s start by defining ‘love…’
1. A feeling of affection towards someone or something; usually experienced in honesty or openness: or something a person ‘is present to’ in the universe.
“Love” itself is a constant.
1. Something that does not change.
Love is always present and unchanging.
Let’s continue by defining ‘connection…’
1. A relationship.
‘Tis not a feeling, it’s a relationship.
1. The way in which two people are connected, for instance; they work together; they are mother and daughter; they are father and son; they date; they are married.
Keep it simple!
There is no “supposed to” in “relationship.”
Let’s further continue by defining love, again; this time the verb…
1. To care for someone or something; love in action. To do something nice for someone.
Everyone and everything…is always connected. And love as a verb is expressed in action….Love is always present. The quality or state of a “relationship” depends on you.
- If you want authenticity, be authentic…
- If you want openness, be open…
- If you want peace, be peaceful…
- If you want fun, be fun…
- If you want creativity, be creative…
- If you want love…it’s everywhere!
Find a healthy way to experience it!
1. The state of being sound; the state of being comfortable and clear…
Sometimes we have to remind ourselves that love is present.
- Look at a picture
- Take a moment
- Recall a conversation
All points in space and time are connected…
…If I were love, how would I feel?
…If I were deeply concerned about this person, what would I say or what would I do?
…If I were deeply concerned about the world, how would I feel and what would I do, today?
How would I be?
Then live from the question and see what unfolds…

The Yoga Book
“The idea for The Yoga Book came to me in a yoga class! I saw it clearly in my mind and I needed somewhere to write it down. Also, I had recently met with a Indian medical doctor, who had said “Different styles of yoga effect people differently, so it is important to know which ‘style of yoga’ is right for you.” So, I decided to create a book, where people could journal about their experiences in a yoga class, write about the different postures – how they felt, get inspired, and write about their insights… Sometimes I would come to class with a problem, any problem, and leave with a solution! And when I did, I’d write it down somewhere, so I decided to create The Yoga Book.”
