So, let’s start by defining ‘moment…’

Be satisfied…

You’re alive!

Remember… it’s not that easy to get here!


How can you enjoy the moment, today?

  • Turn off the computer
  • Go outside
  • Breathe
  • Look at someone
  • Look at something
  • Slow down
  • Write down ~ every reason you’re grateful! 
  • Play “The Happy and Successful Game!” [See below]
  • Whatever!

Suggestion: Set moderate, attainable goals for yourself, for the next three days, write them down and keep your word. If you keep your word, you’ll probably find enjoying the moment easier…

Once you trust yourself, enjoying the moment is easier!

If a difficult situation should present itself, know it’s simply a challenge to stay present. The situation, and your dealing with it ~ in the moment is only going to make you stronger, and the stronger you are…the bigger difference you can make! So, surrender to whatever is happening…think of the worst case scenario and accept it, fully.

If you’re having difficulty staying present, do things in slow motion!

EXTREME SLOW MOTION

Slow way down…

It may seem absurd at first, and it will probably feel absurd, but it’s a way to practice being present. By slowing down, you will learn ~ in your body ~ to more easily enjoy the moment!

The Yoga Book

“The idea for The Yoga Book came to me in a yoga class! I saw it clearly in my mind and I needed somewhere to write it down. Also, I had recently met with a Indian medical doctor, who had said “Different styles of yoga effect people differently, so it is important to know which ‘style of yoga’ is right for you.” So, I decided to create a book, where people could journal about their experiences in a yoga class, write about the different postures – how they felt, get inspired, and write about their insights… Sometimes I would come to class with a problem, any problem, and leave with a solution! And when I did, I’d write it down somewhere, so I decided to create The Yoga Book.”
