take your time
1. Go slowly.
Ex: She took her time, she did things slowly.
How can you ‘take your time,’ today?
- Slow down…
- Stretch a little in the bathroom.
- Stop what you’re doing and take five deep breaths.
- Wake up early and give yourself plenty of time.
- Type slowly…
- Read slowly…
- Get plenty of sleep…

- Think a bit before responding to a question.
- Splash warm water on your face, mid-day.
- Wash your hands, slowly.
- Put something off until tomorrow, consciously…
- If you’re running late, call whomever you need to call
and give yourself enough time to get there, happily.
Ask yourself, how can I ‘take my time,’ today?
Then live from the question and see what unfolds…

Weekly Challenge II
Schedule a day of fun things to do and go! Flow… Enjoy!
Have you ever noticed yourself rushing around ~ when you have plenty of time? Why? What are you running from…? STOP RUNNING! It’s o.k. We all have crosses to bear…even if you think you don’t, you do and it’s o.k.
It’s up to you to Stop Running, and if you stop running, you ‘give the gift of taking your time’ to other people, even if it’s indirectly or without your knowledge.
Many things happen without our knowledge…
You make a difference in the universe, in whatever you decide to do.
If you’re about to do something that you don’t want to do, which is also good for you; stop, take a deep breath and resolve to do it very slowly!
Only good can come from slowing down…so schedule your day with enough time to take your time. 🙂

About The Yoga Book
The Yoga Book is a personal yoga diary! It is a book for your thoughts and experiences, after a yoga class. Often creative ideas, solutions to problems and powerful insights are revealed to you – write them down! Do you have a creative idea? Write it down! Do you have a favorite posture? Sketch it! Do you have a favorite class or instructor? Take notes! Use it to determine your favorite style of yoga or enhance your practice. The Yoga Book is also perfect for teacher trainings and yoga workshops! Every page has an inspirational quote, space for the date, style of yoga, and instructor’s name. It also has a glossary of classic yogas. Enjoy!
“The idea for The Yoga Book came to me in a yoga class! I saw it clearly in my mind and I needed somewhere to write it down. Also, I had recently met with an Indian medical doctor, who had said “Different styles of yoga effect people differently, so it is important to know which ‘style of yoga’ is right for you.” So, I decided to create a book, where people could journal about their experiences in a yoga class, write about the different postures – how they felt, get inspired, and write about their insights… Sometimes I would come to class with a problem, any problem, and leave with a solution! And when I did, I’d write it down somewhere, so I decided to create The Yoga Book.”
