Weekly Question: “How can you ‘give up the desire…’ to be, do and have…?” 🙂
Weekly Intention: Be

Notes/Thoughts

“Desire nothing. Give up all desires and be happy.”
– Swami Sivananda

How… can you ‘give up the desire…’ to be, do, and have, today?”

  • Just BE…
Ex: Give up ‘the desire for…’ anything, and simply move through life. ‘Wanting’ is exhausting, so give it up!
  • Go get what you want, if you still want stuff. 😉
  • Let life take you where it wants you to go… 🙂
For instance, if something pops into your head to do, then do it! It’s guidance; if it’s good in nature. 🙂
  • Do things that excite you.
  • Do things that inspire you.
  • Do things.
  • Be.
  • Have.
  • Enjoy!

Ask yourself, “How can I ‘give up the desire…’ to be, do and have, today?”
Then, live from the question and see what unfolds…

Weekly Notes

Simply ask, “Can I have this…?”

And wait for the universe, or another, to respond.

Then, let it go.

Breathe…work the plan, do the work ~ whatever it takes.

Trust your judgement, instincts, talents, and divine guidance.

All desire is simply ‘wanting…’  and it is draining.

So, right now, figure out the thing you want, and go get it! Or, simply let it go, for now…

Can you really possess anything, anyway, or is a possession ~ just an illusion?

What do you want, really?
REALLY!? Can you possess a person? Is it possible? Would you actually want to possess a person? I certainly hope not… So, the quandary becomes “What should you do when you want something?”Turn it on it’s head! If you want some attention, for instance, give some attention. Send a person some golden light and breathe. Surround a person with golden light and let em’ go. Recall a pleasant memory, wish them great happiness and watch what unfolds! Be grateful… 🙂

Because YOU matter and YOU make a difference…

About The Yoga Book

The Yoga Book

The Yoga Book is a personal yoga diary! It is a book for your thoughts and experiences, after a yoga class. Do you have a favorite posture? Sketch it! Do you have a favorite class or instructor? Take notes! Do you have a creative idea? Write it down! Use it to determine your favorite style of yoga or enhance your practice. The Yoga Book is also perfect for teacher trainings and yoga workshops! Every page has an inspirational quote, space for the date, style of yoga, and instructor’s name. It also has a glossary of classic yogas. Enjoy!

“The idea for The Yoga Book came to me in a yoga class! I saw it clearly in my mind and I needed somewhere to write it down. Also, I had recently met with an Indian medical doctor, who had said “Different styles of yoga effect people differently, so it is important to know which ‘style of yoga’ is right for you.” So, I decided to create a book, where people could journal about their experiences in a yoga class, write about the different postures – how they felt, get inspired, and write about their insights… Sometimes I would come to class with a problem, any problem, and leave with a solution! And when I did, I’d write it down somewhere, so I decided to create The Yoga Book.”
